Denise & Ian got married at White Point on a Tuesday- the same date (July 11th) as Denise’s grandparents did 65 years ago. So there was more than one reason to celebrate as family and friends gathered together and can I just say this family knows how to throw a good party?! 😀
Besides Denise and Ian choosing such a sentimental day to hold their wedding on, I couldn’t get over how laid back the two of them were throughout the entire day. Unfortunately, in the fury of preparing to come home for their wedding, Denise actually forgot to pack what sounded like a stunning custom belt for her wedding dress and when she realized, I remember her very clearly saying “well, I can’t let this ruin my day” which I thought was super impressive.
As a photographer, you get to be a “fly on the wall” so to speak and the other thing I remarked on while at White Point (besides how many times Ian was referred to as a fine physical specimen haha) was how much Denise would put everyone else first. She helped all of her bridesmaids and family get ready, she ran her own errands and best of all, she always focused 100% of her attention on her nieces and nephew and other kiddies who were always yelling “Dee Dee!!!” over the crowd.
Denise and Ian, you two and your guests were a pleasure to work with! Wishing you all the best!
