“I can’t say enough great things about Giselle! We booked her for our July wedding after seeing the photos she did for a mutual friend and I am so happy we did. We are both admittedly awkward people but Giselle made us feel SO comfortable. She was extremely patient with us (and our HUGE bridal party including multiple children under 6). We woke up the morning after our wedding to sneak peak photos and were in awe. We received our full gallery about a week ago and I’ve already looked at it about 57 times. On top of taking incredibly beautiful and timeless photos, she is one of the most kind, sweet, funny and easy going people I've met. You know your photographer is amazing when she gets in the ocean to get the perfect shot! Giselle photographed our engagement and wedding photos this past year and was fabulous to work with! “I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Giselle as our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos! Neither my husband or I had any experience being photographed and were quite nervous for how our first session would go but when we met Giselle for our engagement pictures she made it so easy and relaxed. Not only did our pictures turn out AMAZING but we all had a blast together; she has such a relaxed and friendly personality that she put us at ease immediately and made the rest of the shoot so natural and fun.

Our wedding day was exactly the same, the pictures turned out so much better than I could have ever hoped for, I’m over the moon with the results. She has such a good understanding of what will make a beautiful photo. On our wedding day I had a few different spots picked out I thought would look nice for pictures but the way she sees a space and photographs it all of our picture turn out so much better than what I could have imagined. I also LOVED that she was up for whatever when it came to capturing the right shot, including walking half way across the city or climbing on the rocks at the waterfront in nearly freezing temperatures.

“Giselle was recommended to us by some of her past co-workers and clients. We had a set budget we wanted to spend on our wedding photographer, we had our first meeting with Giselle and she was so incredibly helpful and worked with us to determine a timeline and plan that everyone was happy with.

We had our first photo session with Giselle for our engagement photos, and I honestly don't have the words to describe how beautiful they turned out. Giselle is so personable, easy going, and fun to work with; she made us feel so comfortable and we had such a blast, which you can tell from the photos! The lighting, the angles, and the poses that she directed us into clearly display Giselle's skills, experience and expertise.

On the day of the wedding, Giselle kept in touch with us throughout the day as it was potentially going to rain and we wanted to do our photos outside. Giselle provided us with alternative locations and also scoped out our preferred spot to determine the best photo ops and where we should have our first look. Luckily for us the rain held off and Giselle got some amazing photos. We couldn't be happier with the photos from the ceremony and reception as well, she captured the emotion, the little details and the fun we all had!

“Giselle is a passionate photographer who puts a lot into her work. She has such a unique ability to capture people in their natural state which we experienced first hand when we spent the evening together getting out engagement pictures taken around downtown Halifax. I had an incredibly vague idea of what I wanted - which I’m sure can be difficult for a photographer; lol, BUT Giselle was able to turn that into a reality that was even better than anything I could have imagined. From that moment, I knew that she was perfect for our special day.

Giselle made the whole experience extremely easy, and super personal! Get this - She did all the ‘lag’ work in advance of the big day, and even went as far as going to the locations we planned to take our photos at, at different times of day to see how the natural ‘lighting’ would differ! She was able to make great suggestions as to when we should go where because of that! Super kind, generous, and personal photographer. Pictures turned out better than I could expect, and are perfect!

Most recently, we decided to get three additional wedding albums made for our families for Christmas. A big part of the decision was because of how Giselle had already come through not once for us, but twice! Once again, Giselle went above and beyond designing each album exclusively and delivered them beautifully wrapped and ready to go. They were a hit and memories we all have forever.

I can't recommend Giselle enough if you are looking for a photographer for your special day. She will be with you every step of the way and help you develop your vision better than you thought possible!”
