Sarah & Brad’s Backyard Wedding - Belnan, NS

Sarah & Brad’s wedding was an absolute blast and definitely one of the highlights of my summer! These guys have infectious personalities, and as I learned, so did their families and bridal parties, so it was an absolute joy to be around them celebrating all day!

There were so many happy moments throughout the day like when Sarah’s dad was proudly modelling his socks - the same ones he wore the day he married Sarah’s mom (they were obviously good luck). Like during “formal portrait” time when most of the family photos had funny faces in them and the boys were mooning the camera. Like when Brad’s grandfather sang the first dance song and changed the lyrics to have Sarah’s name in them (even I couldn’t hold back the tears for that one).

I loved how Sarah’s maid of honour and Brad’s best man did their speeches during the ceremony. I loved the ceremony arbour, table markers and place settings that were homemade by Brad. I loved how many times Sarah’s mom had “happy tears” in her eyes.

These guys clearly put a lot of heart into their wedding planning and it was obvious that they wanted all their guests to enjoy celebrating with them. I’m speaking for everyone there when I say that it was a day that will be remembered fondly for years to come. Thanks for having me be a part of it guys! <3
