Sheldon & Briana’s Kurtz Orchards Wedding - Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON

Sheldon & Briana are two of the most thoughtful and generous people I know, and although I may be slightly biased because they’re family, I know I’m not the only one who thinks that. They put so much thought into planning their wedding, making sure that all of their guests would enjoy celebrating with them as much as they would. And their day was perfect! Actually, the whole weekend was! They chose to host their wedding at the gorgeous Kurtz Orchards venue in Niagara-on-the-Lake and it did not disappoint! The outdoor ceremony and reception area were absolutely stunning!

As I’ve said many times before, I feel it’s an honour to shoot someone’s wedding. It’s such an important job, capturing memories for people to have for a lifetime, and it’s not one I take lightly. So when I had the opportunity to photograph my brother’s wedding, I really wanted to be on my A game! One of the best decisions Sheldon & Briana made before the wedding in my opinion, was to hire a second photographer. We knew there were going to be moments throughout the day that I would want to be present for and we all thought it best to have someone help me with that. Enter Kristyn Smith. Kristyn is the kindest soul with a talent like no other. Any of the nerves I had about capturing my brother’s wedding subsided when I knew she had my back. So, this blog is a compilation of her images too, and I can’t thank her enough for flying to Ontario during the peak of her busy season to help us out. <3

I feel Sheldon & Briana’s wedding weekend also went off without a hitch thanks to Jessy & Laurence from Stori Events. These guys were true professionals, organizing all the details beforehand and executing them on the day of the wedding effortlessly.
