A spring wedding at Planters Ridge Winery

Isabelle and Jamie’s wedding day at Planters Ridge Winery in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley was cozy, heartfelt, and full of joy—proof that a little rain can’t get in the way of a beautiful celebration.

The day began with Isabelle getting ready in a charming Airbnb just just behind Beausoleil, and right next door to their venue. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, the morning was full of laughter, quiet moments, and anticipation.

In true Nova Scotia fashion, the weather was changing all day but the staff at Planters Ridge were incredible—gracious, calm, and completely prepared. I&J’s ceremony was moved into their barrel cellar, a warm and inviting space that made everything feel intimate and intentional.

Outside, the apple blossoms were in full bloom. It’s a toss up who was more excited for this - Isabelle or me. :) Even through the rain, the vineyard views were stunning and added to the atmosphere of the day.

Isabelle and Jamie, who first connected over craft beer and a shared love of good food, made sure their guests were treated to both. The whole day reflected who they are—easygoing, thoughtful, and grounded in what really matters.

It was the kind of wedding that stays with you. Simple, meaningful, and full of heart.
