For the past 10 years, I’ve been photographing weddings and families across Nova Scotia. What began as a creative passion has grown into a deeply fulfilling part-time career rooted in connection and trust.
My approach is natural, candid, and people-focused. I’m often told I help people feel at ease in front of the camera and that’s something I truly value. I know how vulnerable it can feel to be photographed, so I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where you can be yourself.
I tend to work best with joyful people—those who appreciate a bit of direction during their session, but also want the experience to feel easy, natural, and true to them. I’ll gently guide when needed, while leaving plenty of space for real moments to unfold.
I’m drawn to the in-between shots: the wind in your hair, the subtle glances, the bursts of laughter. Those are the moments that bring your photos to life—the ones that capture how these memories actually felt.
I’ll always be proud to be from Cape Breton and that will forever be a part of me. These days, I’m happily living in Bedford with my husband and two daughters. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually trying to stay active with my family and friends. I love supporting local and making the most of what this beautiful province has to offer.

“I can’t say enough great things about Giselle! We booked her for our July wedding after seeing the photos she did for a mutual friend and I am so happy we did. We are both admittedly awkward people but Giselle made us feel SO comfortable. She was extremely patient with us (and our HUGE bridal party including multiple children under 6).
